Meet the team developing openlp.org!

openlp.org is divided into a few teams, viz.

• Development
• Support
• Administration

Development Team: Raoul Snyman Position: Lead Developer / Project Administrator Day job: Python Developer A little bit more: Raoul lives in Cape Town, South Africa. He is married to Hannah, and have their first sprog arriving in August 2009. Raoul works for a jobs site called CareerJunction, where he writes Python web applications. He is also an open source software enthusiast, actively promoting Linux where ever he can. Personally, he runs the Kubuntu Linux distribution on his desktop.

 

Raoul has been involved with computers since he can remember. He wrote his first few programs at age 10 in BASIC, but then moved to Pascal when he started using that for computer studies in high school. While at university he learned a few more programming languages, including C++ and Java, and taught himself PHP, CSS, HTML and, most recently, Python. Raoul is involved with a number of open source projects in addition to openlp.org, like a project management tool and a church service collaboration tool.
