Requirements

To use openlp.org v1 nicely, the following hardware would be a reasonable minimum specification:

  • 500 Mhz CPU (or more depending on Windows version)
  • 64MB RAM (or more depending on Windows version)
  • 25MB additional hard disk space
  • Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista/7
  • Multiple monitor support
  • Microsoft DirectX 9 or greater - this can be downloaded from the Microsoft DirectX page
  • for Powerpoint support, Powerpoint XP/2003/2007 is required.
To run the upcoming v2, you will need:
  • 2Ghz CPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • 100MB free disk space
  • Windows XP/Vista/7, Linux, Mac OSX (10.5 or 10.6), FreeBSD
  • Multiple monitors support recommended, but can run with just one
  • For presentation support:
    • Windows: PowerPoint XP or later, PowerPoint Viewer 2003 or 2007, OpenOffice.org Impress 3.2/LibreOffice Impress 3.3
    • Linux: OpenOffice.org Impress 3.2/LibreOffice Impress 3.3
    • Mac: No support yet
  • The Generic Document/Presentation and Songs of Fellowship song import options both require OpenOffice.org 3.2/LibreOffice 3.3

    English
